Terms of Use

Effective June 23, 2026

These terms apply to Breeze, the Breeze website, auto-updates, Nav, and Breeze Cloud. By downloading or using Breeze, you agree to use it responsibly and understand the limits below.

Plain-English Summary

License and Ownership

Breeze’s source code is available through its GitHub repository under the license stated there. The Breeze name, icon, website copy, and related branding belong to their respective owners and may not be used to imply endorsement.

Nav and AI Output

Nav can summarize pages, search the web, interact with browser UI, set reminders, generate images, and edit images. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, or unsuitable for your use. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them.

Do not use Nav for professional medical, legal, financial, safety-critical, or emergency decisions without qualified human review.

Breeze Cloud Fair Use

Breeze Cloud exists so Breeze can ship with working AI without exposing a provider credential in the app. To protect the shared service, requests are limited and abuse may be blocked. You may not bypass or attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, quota checks, or request validation.

Generated Images

You are responsible for prompts, uploaded images, generated images, downloads, and how you use them. Do not use image generation or editing to violate law, infringe rights, impersonate others, harass people, or create harmful content.

Web Browsing

Breeze is a browser built on WebKit. Websites you visit are controlled by their own operators and terms. Breeze is not responsible for third-party websites, downloads, scripts, forms, logins, or content.

Updates

Breeze can check GitHub Releases for updates and may prompt you to install a new version. Update availability, features, and compatibility can change.

No Warranty

Breeze is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent allowed by law, there are no warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uptime, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, the Breeze publishers and contributors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, security incidents on third-party sites, AI mistakes, or service interruptions.

Changes

These terms may change as Breeze changes. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
